Zero Waste! Poster Contest

Grades: 4th - 8th

City of Tucson Environmental Services is sponsoring the Zero Waste! Poster Contest. Tucson students in grades 4-8 are invited to create a poster that effectively and clearly highlights the importance of reducing waste in the City of Tucson. This contest is an opportunity for students to creatively express their understanding of the Responsible Rs with a goal toward zero waste in our community and to spread that message to the residents of Tucson. The winner's poster will be enlarged and displayed on the side of a City of Tucson collection truck!

Zero Waste! posters should clearly highlight the importance of reducing waste in the City of Tucson. This theme can include topics related to one or all of the Responsible Rs (Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Reimagine) and how residents can take action to make a difference. Use your imagination and get creative!

Students must attend schools (or be home-schooled) within the Tucson city limits. Entries are due by February 15.
