SRP EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

Through a partnership with Arizona non-profit the Environmental Education Exchange (E3), SRP is proud to offer educational programs and materials direct to Phoenix Metro area K-12 schools.

The Powering Our Future classroom presentation is an engaging & fun 55-minute learning experience for your students on renewable energy, energy transformations, and electricity generation. Students will get to ride the energy bikes to experience firsthand how much work it takes to power up everyday devices like lightbulbs, a TV, a hairdryer, a blender, and more!

The Renewable Students presentation explores information about the history, science, and possible future of solar, wind, and hydro powers as well as other less commonly used renewables like geo-thermal, biomass and tidal. We have packaged the content into popular apps that your students use everyday (e.g. Snapchat, Instagram, YouTube) to make the discussion more engaging.
